We have designed all our climbers for multiple cat use; they are solidly built using timber poles and high-grade composite timbers.  The posts are fully roped over a carpet liner.  The base size is specifically designed for stability, some of the larger designs have double thickness bases.  Please check the dimensions quoted against the design to make sure that you can accommodate the climber in the place you have designated it for.

You may wish to customise a design (if it is feasible to do so), which may take us a little longer than buying a standard design. We will quote for the alterations. We also carry a small stock, so if you need a cat climber urgently, are not to exacting with the colours and we have the particular design in stock, it can be sent to you quickly. 

The round and oval beds featured in the designs have a '''vet bed'' insert, which can be taken out for hygiene reasons; underneath the ''vet bed'' is a carpet liner.  These beds are of a generous size and can easily be used by two medium sized cats. The pagodas give ample length for a cat to stretch and sleep, the winged sides ensuring that the cat can doze off safely rather than fall off.

You will have no doubt come across the name KALVEN, and maybe met Ken at one of the many cat shows during the show years at which we have exhibited. The name Kalven comes from an anagram of Val & Ken, Val being the other half of the team, and we are solely responsible for the quality and care of your order, which is made specifically for you. You are buying your goods directly from an independant manufacturer.

Our company has been involved within the pet trade for almost 40 years, over 20 years being dedicated into manufacturing some of the best creative designs in cat climbers.  Our Pagoda range is quite unique, and has evolved in many ways, with designs coming from both ourselves and customer's enquiries. As a new design evolves, we have our own on-site feline testers.

The best endorsements for our products have come from the breeders and show people who have supported us over the years and probably this is why you are here. We attend championship cat shows in many areas of the country, but sometimes face the dilemma that two shows are on at the same time, in different parts of the country.  This web site was developed to ensure that you can still see our range, email us or order on -line, and have your requirements met by mail order, with carriage paid for ''mainland delivery''.  (see delivery map)
